I had the incredible opportunity to present my research at the 9th GlobeHeal Conference 2026, organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), held in the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia. Attending this global conference was not just an academic milestone for me, but also a deeply enriching personal and professional experience.
Presenting my research at such a prestigious international platform was truly a proud moment. My presentation focused on the significance of waist circumference as a parameter for measuring CVS risk, and it was rewarding to engage with an audience that showed genuine interest in my work. The discussions that followed were insightful, offering me valuable perspectives and constructive feedback.
What stood out most to me was the diversity of ideas and approaches presented during the sessions. The conference covered a wide range of themes in global health, including public health challenges, healthcare innovation, policy development, and community-based solutions. Listening to experts from different parts of the world helped me understand how similar challenges are addressed in various contexts, broadening my perspective as an educator and researcher.
Networking was another key highlight of my experience. I had the chance to connect with fellow academics, researchers, and professionals who share similar interests. These interactions opened doors for potential collaborations and future research opportunities. It was inspiring to be part of a global academic community that values knowledge exchange and continuous learning.
Beyond the conference sessions, Bali itself added a special dimension to the experience. The island’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and peaceful surroundings created the perfect backdrop for reflection and inspiration. Exploring local landmarks and experiencing Balinese culture allowed me to balance academic engagement with personal enrichment.
I would also like to acknowledge the excellent organization by TIIKM. The event was well-structured, with clear communication, smooth scheduling, and supportive staff who ensured that every participant had a meaningful experience. Their commitment to fostering global dialogue in health-related fields is truly commendable.
As an educator based in Ajman, UAE, I have found that this experience has significantly enriched my teaching and research approaches. I am excited to bring these global insights into my classroom and academic work, encouraging my students to think beyond boundaries and engage with real-world challenges.
