Globeheal 2024
The Success Story of the 7th Global Public Health Conference 2024
The 7th Global Public Health Conference (GLOBEHEAL 2024) was successfully held from 22nd –23rd February 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, on a hybrid platform. The conference took place under the theme “Empowering Communities: Uniting for Global Health Equity,” reflecting a strong commitment to fostering inclusive, community‑centered approaches to global health.
This international gathering united 150+ researchers, practitioners, public health professionals, and policymakers from around the world from 30+ countries, creating a dynamic space for learning, dialogue, and collaborative problem‑solving. Participants explored a wide range of public health disciplines, from primary healthcare and epidemiology to environmental health, mental health, and health communication; through diverse research presentations, case studies, and interactive sessions.
The purpose of GLOBEHEAL 2024 was to strengthen global health equity by promoting community empowerment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence‑based innovation. Through keynote speeches, plenary discussions, and parallel sessions, attendees engaged in meaningful conversations on health promotion, system resilience, and equitable access to care, highlighting the importance of collaborative solutions across local and global contexts.
Beyond its formal sessions, GLOBEHEAL 2024 offered rich opportunities for networking, research dissemination, and long‑term partnership building. The hybrid format enabled broader global participation, allowing attendees to connect across borders, exchange insights, and strengthen institutional collaborations. These collective efforts reinforced GLOBEHEAL’s mission to advance global health dialogue and shape a more equitable, resilient public health future.
